Meet: Rosalind Williams
About
Rosalind Williams is a visual artist and an independent curator.
As an artist, her drawings, paintings, and textile designs are done in gouache, acrylics and textile paints. Her drawings and paintings vary in size and hand-painted, one-of-a kind textile pieces are done directly on antique or used furniture.
She specializes in fine photography as an independent curator in Spain and internationally. Rosalind was born in New Orleans, raised in San Francisco. She lives and works in Madrid.
Artist’s Statement
As of a very young age, Rosalind has been attracted to flowers. As a child she assisted the family’s gardener. On to adulthood, this interest was reflected in her artwork—first as a textile designer and later in her paintings and drawings.
As an artist, her main goal is to share with the general public her enjoyment of floral renditions.
